"​I recently visited A&W Canada to try their Masala Veggie Burger, and I have to say, it is a refreshing departure from the standard plant-based options you usually find in fast food. Most places try to replicate the taste of beef, but A&W has leaned into a vibrant, spice-forward profile that really stands out.​The star of the show is the patty itself. It’s a crispy, potato-based patty that reminds me of a traditional Aloo Tikki. It’s seasoned perfectly with cumin, coriander, and a hint of chili. Unlike many veggie burgers that can be dry or bland, this one was incredibly moist on the inside with a satisfying crunch on the outside.​What really brings it together is the masala sauce. It has a nice creamy texture with a tangy kick that complements the spices in the patty. The addition of fresh tomatoes, crisp lettuce, and—most importantly—red onions gives it an authentic "street food" feel. The red onions, in particular, provide a sharp bite that cuts through the richness of the fried patty and the sauce. ​lf you are someone who enjoys a bit of heat, you won't be disappointed. It has a legitimate "kick" to it that lingers, which is rare for a mainstream fast-food chain. It’s filling, flavorful, and feels like a thoughtful vegetarian option rather than an afterthought. Whether you’re a long-time vegetarian or just someone looking to swap out meat for a meal, this burger is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back for another one soon!"
